Feasibility Study
DkCCC can help users investigate the possible benefits of using in-house developed chips in products, as well as to assess the costs of such development.
Typical examples may be:
- Using a in-house developed chip (ASIC) rather than using commercial components on a PCB
- Next generation of an existing ASIC. Such a study could also include investigations of alternative fabrication processes
DkCCC can provide a set number of hours (typically 40) for the study. A feasibility study will start with the approval of a ‘kick-off’ document and end with a joint review of a report.
If relevant the final report could include a basic plan for possible next steps, e.g targeting fabrication of a first prototype.
If you want to know more about a possible feasibility study for your company please do not hesitate to contact DkCCC.
